Kevin Powell, President, MBA, MSMIS, PMP, AHPP
With over three decades of experience, spanning space operations, engineering management, systems architecture, agile software systems development, proposal management, project management, and program management in the aerospace and broadband businesses, Kevin brings a broad perspective to the analysis and solution development processes. Having led local and virtual teams of over 30 people and annual portfolios of over $7M, to include classified programs, he has the experience and expertise to tackle any challenge. As a perpetual student, he continually expands his knowledge base, remaining connected to the best thought leaders and applying theory to practice in pragmatic ways. As a business area leader and mentor, he led organizational change initiatives, process improvement initiatives, and served as the mentor and coach for multiple peers. He is active in his church where he is a member of the leadership team, supported the development of the by-laws, and led the development of the policies and practices.
Our history
After more than 22 years with a leading aerospace and defense contractor, Kevin started ACEs Blue in April 2024 to fulfill his dream of owning his own business. During his time in industry, and as the director of a business unit, a team leader, a program manager, and the de facto business development and project management process owner, he had the opportunity to experience all aspects of running a business, setting and attaining goals, and facilitating the growth of his team. In the process, he found he gained the most satisfaction from helping others learn, gain insights, and grow. With multiple Master's degrees, a Project Management Professional certification, and a heart for continual growth and the nurturing of others, he now brings his passion to ACEs Blue to help others achieve the success they deserve.
